Lake SaromaLake Saroma

Also known as: サロマ湖

A brackish lake that opens by a mouth to the Sea of Okhotsk. It is the largest in Hokkaido and the third largest nationwide; its shores host scallop aquaculture and, in autumn, beds of glasswort that flush red.
