Also known as: 鞆の浦
A 'tide-waiting' port town in Fukuyama. It was the site of the negotiations over Sakamoto Ryoma's Iroha Maru Incident and is also known as the conceptual setting for the film 'Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea.' Scenes such as its stone lantern remain.
