Iroha Maru IncidentIroha Maru Jiken

Also known as: いろは丸事件・いろは丸

An 1867 incident in which the Iroha Maru, operated by Sakamoto Ryoma's Kaientai trading company, collided with a ship of the Kishu domain in the Seto Inland Sea and sank. The compensation negotiations were held at Tomonoura.
