A children's-verse poet born in 1903 in Senzaki village, Otsu district (now Senzaki, Nagato). In 1923, while minding a bookshop in Shimonoseki, she began submitting poems to magazines under the name Kaneko Misuzu and was praised by Saijo Yaso.
