黒川Kurokawa River
Rising on Neko-dake near Sakanashi in Aso City's Ichinomiya district, the Kurokawa flows north through the Aso Valley and straight through the Uchinomaki hot-spring district. After irrigating farmland it joins the Shirakawa at Tateno, then flows through Kumamoto City to the Ariake Sea.
