Ushibuka PortUshibuka Kou

Also known as: 牛深港

One of Kumamoto Prefecture's largest fishing ports, at Ushibuka. A natural harbor sheltered on three sides, it is a base for deep-sea and offshore fishing and a leading domestic producer of zabushi, smoked-and-dried fish flakes other than bonito, such as mackerel and sardine flakes.
