Gama-no-Abura
Also known as: gama no abura
A battlefield ointment traditionally associated with the Mt. Tsukuba area. In the Edo period, Nagai Hyosuke (childhood name Heisuke) is said to have devised its sales patter beneath the Gama-ishi rock near the summit and popularized it by performing at Sensoji Temple in Edo.
