Mitsubishi Nagasaki Shipyard
Mitsubishi Nagasaki Shipyard traces back to the Nagasaki Iron Works the shogunate founded in 1857; Mitsubishi leased the site in 1884 and made it its own shipyard. In 1942 it built and completed the battleship Musashi.
