Meganebashi Bridge

Meganebashi Bridge is the twin-arch stone bridge over the Nakashima River said to have been built in 1634 by Mokusu Nyojo, a Chinese-born monk of Kofukuji Temple. It is regarded as Japan's oldest stone arch bridge, and its name comes from the way its reflection makes the two arches resemble a pair of eyeglasses.
