Kasama CastleKasama-jo
A castle said to have been built by Kasama Tokitomo atop Mount Sashiro around 1219, during the Kamakura period. It is selected as one of the Continued Top 100 Japanese Castles and was demolished under the 1873 Meiji-era castle abolition decree.
