Heike NokyoHeike Nokyo

Also known as: 平家納経

A National Treasure set of decorated sutra scrolls copied in shares by Taira no Kiyomori and the Taira clan and dedicated to Itsukushima Shrine in 1164. Adorned in gold and silver, its thirty-three scrolls are a masterpiece of Heian-period art.
