Aizu Tooka IchiAizu Tōka Ichi

Also known as: Tooka Ichi・Tokaichi

A New Year market held every January 10 in central Aizuwakamatsu, where crowds come to buy the "three Aizu charms," okiagari-koboshi dolls, kazaguruma pinwheels, and hatsune bird whistles. The market itself is said to run more than 400 years back into the Edo period.
